The day my life changed.

Updated: Feb 18, 2022

I was 7 years old when my father came in one morning and told me, my brother, and my sister that our Mother had left the previous night and was never coming back. We lived in Kitchener, Ontario at this time. My Dad packed our belongings and took the 3 of us on a train and headed back to Newfoundland.

Me and my sister was dropped off at my Aunt Doris and Uncle Sam's. My father took my brother back to Stoneville where we had lived before moving to Ontario, to stay with My Grandmother, Dads Mother. We stayed there for a few months till my Father found a foster home for me and my sister. And then we went to our Foster home.
